This movie, Madame Tutli-Putli, will definitely collect a lot of awards and prizes in the future… According to NFB, this 17′ minute movie has been 5 years in the making, so judging to the trailer, I can’t wait to see it. Via Drawn.

Madame Tutli-Putli boards the night train, weighed down with all her earthly possessions and the ghosts of her past.

She travels alone, facing both the kindness and menace of strangers. As day descends into dark, she finds herself caught up in a desperate metaphysical adventure. Adrift between real and imagined worlds, Madame Tutli-Putli confronts her demons and is drawn into an undertow of mystery and suspense.

The National Film Board of Canada presents a stunning, stop-motion animated film that takes the viewer on an exhilarating existential journey. The film introduces groundbreaking visual techniques and is supported by a haunting and original score. Painstaking care and craftsmanship in form and detail bring to life a fully imagined, tactile world unlike any you have seen.

Jungian thriller? Hitchcockian suspense? Artistic tour de force? The night train awaits you.

A few weeks ago, I was surprised while visiting my local news stand, to look at the price of a PRINT MAG, it was about 40€!! no lie! No I wonder where retailers and distributors get such percentage.
Today I was reading the regular newsletter from amazon, they are now offering a 6 issue subscription for only $37. I can save ± 80% if ordering through amazon. This is not easy advertising, a serious recommendation! Click the image to access the promotion (time limited).

savenetradio.jpgThe future of the internet radio is threatened, radios like pandora.com, or any other streaming service broadcasting is in danger due to a recent decision by the Copyright Royalty Board in Washington, DC, something that can affect negatively our daily life and many broadcasters, radio stations and radio dj’s that bring us new artists and joy every day.

Act NoW!

Hi, it’s Tim from Pandora,

I’m writing today to ask for your help. The survival of Pandora and all of Internet radio is in jeopardy because of a recent decision by the Copyright Royalty Board in Washington, DC to almost triple the licensing fees for Internet radio sites like Pandora. The new royalty rates are irrationally high, more than four times what satellite radio pays and broadcast radio doesn’t pay these at all. Left unchanged, these new royalties will kill every Internet radio site, including Pandora.

In response to these new and unfair fees, we have formed the SaveNetRadio Coalition, a group that includes listeners, artists, labels and webcasters. I hope that you will consider joining us.

Please sign our petition urging your Congressional representative to act to save Internet radio: http://capwiz.com/saveinternetradio/issues/alert/?alertid=9631541

Please feel free to forward this link/email to your friends - the more petitioners we can get, the better.

Understand that we are fully supportive of paying royalties to the artists whose music we play, and have done so since our inception. As a former touring musician myself, I’m no stranger to the challenges facing working musicians. The issue we have with the recent ruling is that it puts the cost of streaming far out of the range of ANY webcaster’s business potential.

I hope you’ll take just a few minutes to sign our petition - it WILL make a difference. As a young industry, we do not have the lobbying power of the RIAA. You, our listeners, are by far our biggest and most influential allies.

As always, and now more than ever, thank you for your support.

-Tim Westergren

This was in due to be posted at Fitacola for a long time, I’m always visiting to witness all that every single photo of hers has to amaze.

Sensitive, sexy, poetic, a bucolic poetry to my eyes. Tethereto’s photos are almost always described by her on a way every artistic photos should be. with poetry and imagination. This is a world to dive into and fall in love.
