(0)The Knife’s Silent Shout wiped the floor with the competition on 31st January at Sweden’s version of the Grammy Awards, the Grammis. The noir-electro duo took home the Best Artist, Composer, Album, Producer, DVD, and Group of the Year awards– six altogether. But, of course, being the Knife, they couldn’t just show up and thank their mom and first of all God, their creator, who made all of this possible. Instead? They had some friends of theirs send in this bizarre acceptance video. Although they aren’t wearing masks, video and audio effects are used to obscure their appearance, and to make them look pretty horrifying. (And not in a Courtney Love way.)
The video is in Swedish, but according to YouTube user sumsaR2, the band’s friends discuss normal stuff like the Knife having gone on tour, meeting fans from around the world.
